The PhD Panthers (Audino) rolled to a 10-6 victory over the Spitfires (Silver) in a high-scoring affair. Quinton Audino starred with multiple goals, including strikes in the first, second and third periods, while teammates Quinton Lamotte, Taig Turner, Barrett Walker and others added key scores as the Panthers kept pressure on Spitfires’ netminder Paxton Longstaffe throughout. Everett Riel led the Spitfires offensively with several goals and Christian Maynard and Carter Perrault contributed timely markers as the visitors fought back in each period. The game included some penalties, and both teams showcased plenty of energy and competitive spirit in a lively, offense-driven contest.
