PhD Predators defeated the Spitfires (Silver) 7-4 in a high-energy affair. Early sparks flew as Rylan Schneider opened the scoring for the Predators and Everett Riel answered for the Spitfires, then a flurry of second-period action saw Kai Lother, Xavier Champagne and Milo Novo among others put the Predators ahead while Christian Maynard added one for the Spitfires. The third period kept the excitement with Anderson Pohl and another Champagne goal extending PhD’s lead, and Nate Gibson plus Carter Perrault chipping in late scores for Silver. The game included some penalties, but both teams showcased spirited play and competitive drive throughout the full 60 minutes.
