The Saints struck early and often, with a first-period three-goal burst from Davis Payne, Liam Johnson and Kruz Rapchuk and an avalanche of scores in the second and third—Kingston Bergeron tallied multiple goals while Benjamin Sastaunik, Miller Lowe, Brooks Jones and others kept the pressure on. Goaltending changes for the Pumas saw Tanner Yeo and Nash Lavallee both between the pipes, and the game included some penalties amid spirited play.
