Serious Academy Saints ran away with an 11-2 victory over the PhD Panthers (Bell). The Saints lit up the scoreboard early with five first-period goals — including strikes from Benjamin Sastaunik, Kingston Bergeron, Emerson Mergel, Connor Collins and Sam Eagle — and Emerson Mergel added multiple tallies as the Saints kept the pressure on in the second. PhD Panthers battled back in the third with goals from Griffin Bell and Everett Tucker, while the Saints kept producing late support from Kruz Rapchuk, Benjamin Morpurgo and others; the game included some penalties. Both teams showed energy and determination throughout a high-scoring, entertaining contest.
