The PhD Panthers rolled to a 6-1 victory over the PhD Predators. Early fireworks came in the first period as Bronson Babiak, Hudson Pollok and Santino Giardino all scored to build an early lead, and Liam Jacobson added two more goals including one in the second and another in the third to keep the momentum. Giardino capped the scoring late in the third with his second of the game on an assist from Babiak (and a second assist to Kaden Awang), while the Predators’ Brady Bjorklund provided the lone reply in the second. The game included some penalties, and both teams showcased competitive spirit and effort throughout the 60 minutes.
