The Cobra Chickens edged the PhD Predators 7-6 in a high-scoring thriller. The Predators raced out early with goals from Benjamin Kraynyk and Arty Ross before the Chickens answered with two quick Max Bruyere strikes, and both teams traded bursts of offense through the second as Oliver Sisson and Brady Bjorklund pushed the Preds while Konrad Slater, Nic Kiazyk and Madden Townsend kept the Chickens close. Late in the third Lewis Delorme and Blake Simpson added insurance goals for Cobra Chickens to seal the comeback and the game included some penalties. Both squads delivered nonstop action and a competitive, entertaining contest.
