The River City Rebels defeated Evolution Hockey Club 13-6 in a wild, high-scoring affair. Early on the Rebels charged ahead with a flurry of first-period goals from Parker Marquis, Madden Hueging and Eric Weber while Ashton Gray faced heavy traffic in net, and Evolution answered with strikes from Maksym MacLean and Cohen Dubienski. The second period saw the Rebels keep up the pressure with multiple goals from Hayden Beech, Parker Marquis and Evan Okapiec while Ryden Everett and Evolution pushed back with a marker of their own. In the third, Evolution’s Teo Athanasiadis and Grady Thompson found the net but the Rebels added late goals including another from Parker Marquis to seal the win. The game included some penalties, and both teams showcased relentless effort and entertaining competition throughout.
