The Devon Drillers beat the St. Albert Riptide 3-1 in an energetic contest. Carter Stelter opened the scoring in the first with an assist from Ty Bock and a second assist from Cub Copeland, and Owen Carriere added a second first-period goal to build an early lead. Jack Jacula brought the Riptide back to life in the second with a goal assisted by Will Chaudhary, but Patrick Bowring sealed the result in the third with an assist from Declan Ressler. The game included some penalties, and both teams showed spirited play throughout the full 60 minutes.
