Medicine Hat Hounds edged the KC Flying Sausages 6-4 in a lively back-and-forth contest. Early goals by Kristian Piccolo and Madden Basso set the tone, then KC’s Abdulnassar Haymour pushed KC ahead with two second-period strikes before Brady Brudevold answered with a pair of goals to keep Medicine Hat in it. The third period belonged to the Hounds as Boston Bohrn and multiple goals from Brudevold completed the comeback while Kristian Piccolo added one more for KC late. The game included some penalties, and both teams delivered energetic, competitive hockey throughout the 60 minutes.
