The Flames exploded in the second period with three goals — Grayson Markert, Matthew Markert, and Hunter Collister — turning the tide after Alessio Tamburrino opened the scoring for the Riptide earlier in the period. Finley Hearn added two late goals in the third to seal the win, with strong setup play from teammates including Juan Casas, Archer Deering and Bennett Kromm.
