Sherwood Park Black Knights rolled to a 9-2 victory over the KC Flying Sausages. The Black Knights exploded in the second period with a flurry of goals — MacFarlane, O'Hara, Brecht, Ewanowich and others turned Andrew Popioco's net into a busy spot before KC got one back from Beckett De Luca late in that frame. Sherwood kept the pressure in the third, adding three more goals from Bowman, Dang and O'Hara while KC answered twice with Piccolo and a penalty late in the game. The game included some penalties, and both teams showed plenty of effort and competitive spirit throughout the 60 minutes.
