Lake Travis Girls Lacrosse Association is proud to introduce Caitlin Vasile to our players, families, and the Lake Travis community!  Coach Vasile will be joining our program as the High School Program Director and Head Varsity Coach.   As we transition our youth program into a partnership with LTYA, Vasile will also hold the role of Youth Program Coordinator and Senior Head Coach (7th/8th). 

We are extremely grateful for our 2022 varsity coaching staff and the time they have invested in LTGLA over the years. Coaches Cliff, Brandie, and Jess all have a special place with the program having watched it grow from a startup team to our current D1 level. We want to specifically thank Coach Cliff for his years of dedication to not only club sports in Lake Travis but lacrosse in Central Texas through his high school and youth leadership.  You will occasionally still see Coach Brandie on the field in the fall as she volunteers her time to ensure a smooth transition to Coach Vasile's leadership.

Coach Vasile comes to us with an impressive level of experience and accolades in collegiate play and coaching.  She was an integral member of the George Mason University NCAA Division 1 team where she was a three-year starter, recorded 65 goals and 19 assists, and was the Team Captain her Junior and Senior seasons.  She continued her passion for lacrosse as Head Coach for the Malvern St. James School in Worcestershire, England, St. Bonaventure Assistant Coach in 2015, three year Head Coach for the University of Pennsylvania Edinboro, and Assistant Coach for Canisius College, a Division 1 school in Buffalo, New York.  Most recently, Coach Vasile was Head Varsity Coach at Vandegrift High School.    

We are thrilled to have Coach Vasile and excited to see all she has in store for Lake Travis Girls Lacrosse.  Please join us in welcoming her to the team!
