Please note our league pause has been extended until January 1st in consultation with the mandate set out by Hockey Nova Scotia Minor Council. Please note teams may still organize exhibition games within their zone but must apply for their own permits.
League play will resume as of January 2nd 2020. Each of the division schedules will be issued and posted on the website as of Friday December 18th 2020. Please note, when we return there will be no crossover's for any divisions from the South to the North until the end of January even if health protocols and HNS allows it. We as the league are taking the extra step now to keep our players safe, and hoping parents/guardians feel more comfortable during these times. Currently we have the regular season ending on Sunday February 7th 2021 but this date is a moving target as it may be extended if tournaments are allowed. If we can't do a playoff tournament, we are in the process of making a "plan B" and will issue it early January.
Lastly, Starting Saturday December 19th ending Saturday January 2nd the SMHL Office will be closed for the holidays. This means, no executive members will be working or answering any SMHL questions or concerns.
(PLEASE NOTE the SMHL 50/50 will still be proceeding though-out the holiday break, so don't forget to get your tickets!!)
