About the Program
This 30 minute program is designed for children who have no or very little skating ability. The skater is joined in the ice with a parent/guardian who can help support the skater with the advice of the coach.

Full Season, Fall or Winter: Different options: Full Season Monday & Saturday, Full Season Monday Only, Fall Season Monday Only, Winter Monday Only, Full Season Saturday Only, Fall or Winter Season Saturday
Monday - 5:30 pm to 6:20 pm = 30 min (Class 1) or Monday - 6:00 pm to 6:50 pm = 30 min (Class 2)
Saturday - 8:30 am to 9:20 am (8:30 am o 8:40 am Class 1 off ice warm up) and then on ice 8:50 am to 9:20 am or Saturday - 9:00 am to 9:50 am (9:00 am to 9:10 am Class 2 off ice ware up) and then on ice 9:20 am to 9:50 am.
Full Season: Monday & Saturday: Sep 14, 2026 to April 24, 2027

Your Instructor
Anita Barrington

Anita is an NCCP Trained CanSkate Coach who finds joy in sharing her passion for figure skating with students. Her coaching style emphasizes fun, encouragement, and a mix of individual and group instruction. She actively pursues professional development through adult skating seminars and online courses from Skate Canada.
Her love for figure skating began at age 7, inspired by watching a girl perform spins and jumps on an outdoor rink. She fulfilled her dream of learning the sport as an adult and now teaches her grandchildren to skate, hoping to pass on her enthusiasm.
