ALL AGE DIVISION REGISTRATION IS OPEN!! U7/U9, U11, U13, U15, U17, U19 and LADIES, as well as our all new BOYS program (ALL boys please register under the U13 Boys option.)

BOND CHEQUES - In addition to the fees, there will be a $100 volunteer bond required per PLAYER. Please make the cheques out to Grande Prairie Fastball Association and date the for September 1, 2022. Team managers will collect them at the first practices of the season and turn them in to Ashley. Volunteer hours are required, as there are team positions, tournaments and fundraisers that require volunteer support. At the end of the season, if you've completed the volunteer tasks asked of you, your bond cheque will be returned.

U13/U15 - There will be tryouts March 19, 2022 from 4:15-6:15pm for the travel team. The travel team will be going to central Alberta for three weekends during the season. They will be playing in St.Albert/Edmonton May 6-8, in Irma June 3-5, and in Sherwood Park June 17-19. They will be participating in "B" Division the GPLS www.gpls.ca. They will also play together in "B” Provincials. For regular season they will be disbursed into the other teams to participate in league in the North. There will be $150.00 in additional fees for the "B" team. The travel teams practices will commence at the beginning of April twice per week. If the weather is favourable they will be at the diamonds, and if not, they will practice at the Sportsplex.

The girls that choose not to try out, or aren't selected for the "B" Division team also have opportunities to play games and if the parents/coaches would like, there are some recreational tournaments to choose from. There should also be some league play up here in Northern Alberta. They will also have the opportunity to play in "D" Provincials.

PAYMENTS - Payments can be made via etransfer to fundraisingpirates@gmail.com with the password Fastball2022. We also have the option to accept cheques made out to the Grande Prairie Fastball Association. We can also accept debit and credit card. If you want to pay by debit/credit card please message the page and we will arrange a time, as we have debit terminals. Please select "CASH" as your payment option on the registration if you would like to pay via debit/credit.

VOLUNTEERING: Each team will need a head coach and assistant coaches (the U13/U15 travel teams already have coaches), a team manager, and an equipment manager. Parents will be required to volunteer throughout the season as there are tournaments and fundraisers. Volunteer participation is the easiest way that we are able to keep our fees low.
