As per the Northwestern Health Unit guidelines released today in the attached link we are asking all our hockey families to help protect the athletes, coaches, volunteers and our program by adhering to the recommendations given.
As per the below we are following their recommendation and recommending that if you travel to Manitoba you do not attend hockey for 14 days. We respect the choices that our hockey families are making and we hope that in turn you respect the safety of all the athletes and our programming.
Recommendations related to Manitoba:
Avoid non-essential travel to Manitoba.
Non-essential travel: Anyone who has travelled to Manitoba or is coming into our region from Manitoba for non-essential reasons should:
Stay home and not interact with anyone outside of their household for 14 days after entering northwestern Ontario.
Self-isolate and get tested if they get symptoms of COVID-19 within 14 days of entering our region. Household members of that individual should also self-isolate until the test results are received
