The World of Chel Hockey League is excited to officially unveil its 2026 All-Star Weekend, a two-day celebration of elite talent, fan involvement, and high-level 6v6 competition. Inspired by the format of the NHL Four Nations Faceoff, this year’s All-Star showcase will feature a fan-driven voting process, a captain-led player draft, round-robin play, and a single-elimination championship to crown the top All-Star team.
🗳️ Fan Voting Is Now Open
All-Star Weekend starts with fan voting, where the WOCHL community decides which skaters earn a spot in the All-Star player pool. Every vote helps shape the rosters, the draft, and ultimately the outcome of the weekend.

Once voting concludes, the top four vote-getters will be named All-Star captains.
🎯 Captain Rules & Draft Format
The four captains will participate in a player draft, selecting from the remaining voted-in All-Stars to form their teams. Draft order and strategy will play a major role in shaping each roster, but one key rule ensures fairness and league-wide representation:
-
No WOCHL team may have two players captaining separate All-Star teams.
This restriction adds an extra layer of intrigue to both voting and drafting, encouraging balanced leadership across the league.
🌍 The Four Nations Teams
Each drafted All-Star team will represent one of four traditional hockey powers:
-
USA
-
Canada
-
Finland
-
Sweden
Although the teams carry national identities, rosters are determined entirely by fan votes and the draft, creating unique combinations of teammates and rivals across the league.
