What a night!

The finals of the UCTISL Prospects tournament took come-back wins to a whole new level. 

SD FC faced down a potent Bhuddasliga side, who pinned them back 2 - 0 deep into the second half, when a spirrited last quarter come back saw the game equalised.  Both sides celebrated penalties at the end as the game became direct, scrappy, and set piece driven.  Tragically for Bhuddasliga, 2 lashed penalties were narrowly missed, handing SD FC the spot in the UCTISL, in a 4 - 3 shootout. 

Then came the Bayern boys and the Blues form down South.  Early on Bayern knew that their physicallity held the key, and the False Bay College players went down injured almost as fast as they conceded, with 3 goals going against them before the half time whistle.  Then 9 minutes from time, a consolation goal for False Bay brought the game to 3 - 1.  In the following 8 minutes, they scored another, and in the last play of the game, they scored a perfect header against a team with an average height nearly a foot and a half taller, bringing the game to a 3 - 3 deadlock.  The penalties were brutal, running into sudden death, where Bayern number 6 shooter sucumbed to the enormous pressure, blazed over the cross bar, and watched in horror as False Bay slotted their 6th shot home. False Bay College are through to the UCTISL.
