Congratulations to Will Paquet of U15 BC 1 on being selected as this season’s recipient of the Knudtsen Award.

As described by his coach, Will consistently arrives prepared to compete and demonstrates a strong work ethic, giving his full effort at every practice. His determination and energy set a positive example for his teammates and contribute meaningfully to the team environment. Will is respectful, kind, and supportive, regularly offering encouragement and assistance to those around him.

He is committed to his development, consistently seeking feedback, asking questions, and working to improve his skills. Will leads by example both on and off the ice, exemplifying the values of effort, accountability, and sportsmanship.

The Knudtsen family has been supporting TWHA for the past 17 years. Each year, they honour a player who demonstrates commitment, dedication, team spirit, and sportsmanship. In recognition of this achievement, the recipient receives a $500 gift card to Play It Again Sports Westhills, has their name added to the award trophy displayed at the Flames Community Arenas, and is presented with a personalized engraved water bottle.

In addition, the Knudtsen family, with the support of Play It Again Sports, generously contributes to the TWHA Financial Assistance Program and provides gift cards to support families in need.
