 The Basics:

- **Teams of Four**: Gather your crew (co-ed encouraged but not required) for some unforgettable, bi-weekly karaoke matches.

- **Two Unique Leagues**: Pick your style! One league spotlights pure vocal talent, while the other puts the spotlight on showmanship with fun challenges incorporated into each match.

- **Themed Matches & Round-Robin Style**: Each week’s match has a unique theme and consists of four rounds, ensuring every performance is fresh and fun.

- **Digital Voting**: Points are awarded based on audience votes, with a scoring system designed to keep things balanced and fair.

 When & Where:

- **Location**: On Tap at the Brewhouse Inn and Suites, Milwaukee’s stylish Brewery District.

- **Dates**: League play kicks off on Thursday, December 12 or Thursday, December 19, depending on your league choice, with matches every other Thursday at 7 PM. Each league runs for 10 matches, alternating weeks.

 Vibe & Atmosphere:

This isn’t just a competition; it’s a chance to let loose, show off, and meet other karaoke enthusiasts in a relaxed, social setting. The talent is top-notch, and the vibe is all about fun, with teams competing as much for laughs and camaraderie as for the title.

Prizes & Glory:

- **Cash Prizes**: With a prize pool based on team fees, the stakes are real! In a 6-team league, 1st place takes home $600, 2nd place gets $400, and 3rd place walks away with $200.

Audience Participation:

Hot Mic began 9 years ago as the Midwest Karaoke League and quickly gained a following, even branching into pro-level performances with *Musical Combat*. After a pause during the pandemic, we’re back by popular demand – bigger, better, and ready for another incredible season!

Cost to Join:

Each player pays just $7 per week ($28 per team), with $5 going into the prize pool and $2 toward league expenses. Payment can be made weekly or in full for convenience.
