SASKATOON, SK – September 9th, 2025 – Saskatoon and area hockey players are about to get a rare opportunity to sharpen their skating skills with one of the most respected power skating coaches in the game. Former professional player and internationally recognized coach Brent Bobyck is bringing his highly acclaimed Power Skating Clinics and Private Team Sessions to the city.
With nearly two decades of coaching experience and a professional playing career that spanned 14 seasons across North America and Europe, Bobyck has earned a reputation for developing players at every level—from aspiring young athletes to established NHL stars. His training philosophy combines the technical precision of figure skating with the speed and power of modern hockey, producing skaters who are more efficient, explosive, and confident on the ice.
“The game today is faster than ever, and skating is the foundation of everything,” says Bobyck. “My goal is to give players the tools, discipline, and confidence to excel—not just in skating, but in how they approach the game.”

Clinics & Private Team Sessions in Saskatoon
Bobyck’s upcoming Saskatoon clinics will be open to minor hockey players of all levels, offering instruction in stride mechanics, edge control, explosive acceleration, and fluid transitions—all taught in a high-energy, hands-on environment.
In addition, Private Team Sessions will be available for A, AA and AAA programs, giving teams a chance to train together under Bobyck’s elite methodology and build stronger, faster rosters.
