Royals fall to Wampus Cats in season opener

In their inaugural game of the season, Valor High School's JV Volleyball team battled fiercely but ultimately fell 3-0 against a seasoned opponent. Despite the defeat, the team showcased significant promise and determination throughout the match.

Emily Babcock made a notable impact with her impressive serving, delivering back-to-back aces that energized the team and highlighted her skills at the service line. Izzi Bostock’s exceptional setting ensured that the team's offensive plays had strong foundations, while Addison Oliver and Avery Humble contributed with a couple of powerful spikes that showcased their attacking potential.
