In a tightly contested game, the Apple Wipers pushed their winning streak to seven games beating the once-beaten first place Crabapples. The Apple Wipers took a 2 run lead going into the top of the last inning when the Crabapples quickly added a run. With the score 8-7, the Crabapples had the tying run at first base with two outs. With a base hit to CF, the runner on first base attempted to go to third base, but was thrown out on the cut-off to the SS who went out to short center to receive the throw and made a perfect strike to the Apple Wipers 3B  who put the tag on the runner to end the game. This was only the second loss of the season for the Crabapples.
