2027 Season – More Ways to Play Ball in East Gwillimbury!

The East Gwillimbury Minor Softball Association (EGMSA) is excited to announce our 2027 season, featuring our established softball programs and the exciting introduction of EG Haymakers Hardball!

As we celebrate 40 years in the East Gwillimbury community (1987–2027), we're proud to continue growing and creating more opportunities for local children and youth to get involved in the game.

Whether your child is picking up a glove for the first time, developing their skills, or looking for a new challenge, EGMSA offers a welcoming, supportive environment where players can learn, grow, build friendships, and have fun.

Our 2027 Divisions

Co-Ed House League – U5 to U9

Our introductory and developmental divisions are designed for young players to learn the fundamentals of softball in a fun, encouraging, and team-focused environment.

• U5 T-Ball: An introduction to the game, focusing on basic skills, coordination, and fun.

• U7 Co-Ed: Building confidence through throwing, catching, hitting, and learning the basics of team play.

• U9 Co-Ed: Continuing skill development with an introduction to player pitching, game strategy, and more structured gameplay.

Girls' House League Softball – U11 to U15

Our girls' softball divisions provide opportunities for players to continue developing their skills, confidence, and understanding of the game while enjoying friendly competition.

• U11 Girls' Softball

• U13 Girls' Softball

• U15 Girls' Softball

These divisions emphasize teamwork, sportsmanship, skill development, and a positive playing experience for athletes of varying abilities.

U16+ Co-Ed Softball

Our U16+ Co-Ed Softball division offers older youth and players the opportunity to continue enjoying the game in a fun, inclusive, and team-oriented environment.

Whether returning to the diamond or continuing their softball journey, players can enjoy friendly competition, camaraderie, and an active season.

NEW FOR 2027 – EG Haymakers Hardball!

We're thrilled to introduce the inaugural season of East Gwillimbury Haymakers Hardball, expanding our association's programming to include baseball opportunities for local youth!

Our planned inaugural divisions include:

• 11U Hardball

• 13U Hardball

• 15U Hardball

The EG Haymakers program will focus on developing baseball fundamentals, building confidence, encouraging teamwork, and providing a positive environment for players to grow their skills and passion for the game.

This exciting addition represents a new chapter for our association as we work to bring more baseball opportunities to East Gwillimbury families.

Our existing softball programs aren't going anywhere! The introduction of hardball is an expansion of EGMSA, not a replacement for any of our established divisions. We remain committed to supporting and growing our co-ed and girls' softball programs alongside our new hardball initiative.
