As the Nevsun Premier Pool League (NPPL) enters its final stages, the competition is reaching fever pitch with each game now crucial to the league standings. The remaining fixtures, spanning Weeks 24 to 26, will see teams battle for both glory and critical points as they vie for top positions and playoff spots. With fierce rivalries and championship aspirations on the line, the next few weeks promise thrilling pool action for players and fans alike.

Outstanding Catch-Up Matches Before Week 24 kicks off, a series of unresolved clashes are set for November 8 and 15, starting with USB versus Mega 1, Elusion taking on Muridziwenyaya, and UZ facing BnB Ruwa. These catch-up games will be pivotal, especially for teams like BnB Ruwa and Elusion, who are aiming to close the gap on league leaders Leisure Centre. On November 15, Leisure Centre will face UZ in a vital matchup that could extend or narrow their lead.

Race for the Top Spot Currently, Leisure Centre commands the standings with 57 points and an impressive frame difference of +102. Following closely is BnB Ruwa with 54 points and an identical frame difference, making their catch-up game against USB an essential must-win to keep their title hopes alive. Elusion73, holding strong at 48 points, remains in striking distance, aiming to close out their season with significant victories.

Week 24 Highlights Scheduled for November 9, Week 24 will see standout fixtures, including Leisure Centre’s away game against Pahukama, a crucial encounter that could define the top of the leaderboard. Niceday takes on Legends, BnB Ruwa meets USB, and Blazers clash with Elusion—all matches poised to shift standings and set the stage for the final weeks.

Weekend Blockbusters The following day, November 10, will be packed with high-stakes matchups in Week 25. Notably, Leisure Centre will host Blazers in a home encounter, while BnB Ruwa faces Niceday. These games will test each team’s endurance and determination, with every point now mattering more than ever as we approach the season’s conclusion.

The Final Push: Week 26 As the season’s ultimate round, Week 26 on November 16 holds the potential to make or break dreams. Leisure Centre will travel to Magaffer, while Pahukama, Muridziwenyaya, Killarz, and BnB Ruwa are all in action, looking to finish strong. In this last round of regular games, players will leave it all on the table, knowing that only the best will triumph and secure their places in the league’s history.
