The Off-Season
The Regional Athletic Fantasy Football Season is Near!
Congratulations to the 2023 champion Ducks! The 2024 Season is 5 months away with hopes that the league is going to expand from 4 teams to 8 teams.
The off-season rumors are firing up as we get closer to the Spring Season. Captain from the Ducks Angel Santiago, is flirting with retirement after winning championships in the '21 & '23 season. Joshua Mcknight, Owner of the Headhunters is looking to build his team during the off-season after losing Rookie of the Year Phenom Zaquan to a gruesome injury. Zaquan is still owed $2.4 million from his rookie contract. Joshua signed Ed Patel tight-end from the Speed Demons to a 3-year deal totaling $13.6 million ($10 Guaranteed). Mcknight stated that he is looking to improve from a disastrous 0-7 season and is looking forward to the 2024 season.
Most Improved offensive player of the year Mont has posted a record of 20-0 as a player and captain. Mont improved as a wideout going from 200+ receiving yards in 2022 to 700+ yards in 2023. Will Mont return to the champion Ducks to defend the title? Or will he bring back AHNM in 2024?
The free agent market this year is hot! Ballhawk Lex Medina is available at safety and is currently 2nd in the league lifetime in interceptions caught with (11). Another top free agent tight-end Malik AKA "Tubby" is available and currently is in the conversation for the best TE in the Regional Athletic League history with (15) receiving touchdowns. The best available free agent would be the Dev AKA "Speed Demon", he has posted (20) receiving touchdowns and is currently 2nd all-time on that list.
Most Valuable Player Mando from the Ducks leads the league in Passing Yards All-Time with 4,008 yards. Will he return to MVP form in 2024 after an awkward knee injury during the 2023? Will the league leader in Receiving Touchdowns with (22) Brandon AKA "Slim" also make a return with his MVP QB Mando?
Stay Tuned for the 2024 season........
