Fall Training With Big Walnut Lacrosse and iQ Lacrosse
Big Walnut Lacrosse is excited to be partnering with iQ Lacrosse for our fall training options. Please take a moment to learn more about each of the offerings and which would be best for your player. Registration will open on Sunday, August 4th, at 8am.
Big Walnut Lacrosse is excited to be partnering with iQ Lacrosse for the 2024 Fall Training Series. During these 75-minute clinics, the experienced trainers at iQ Lacrosse will be joined by Big Walnut Lacrosse youth coaches to run players through advanced drills that will require a strong foundation of stick skills and understanding of gameplay.
Not quite ready for an advanced clinic? Please consider signing up your player for the Fall Fundamentals Clinics which will focus on teaching passing, catching, ground balls, shooting, positions, beginner to intermediate gameplay through drills and scrimmaging.
The Fall Training Series is open to all experienced lacrosse players both in and outside of the Big Walnut Local School District in 3rd through 8th grade.

$100 per player (includes all clinics)

10:00am – 11:15am

Big Walnut High School (Turf Field)
Boys and girls will be separated, grouped by grades, and rotated through drills.
Players will need full equipment and an active USA Lacrosse membership.
What to Expect:
- 15 minutes stretching / warmups
- 60 minutes training (20 minutes/station)
What Players Should Bring:
- Players will need full equipment.
- Please arrive a few minutes early to check in on the first day. We will begin checking in players at 9:30am.
- We will play rain or shine – no rain dates. Thankfully playing on the turf will make mud a non-issue, but you may want to pack a change of clothes and shoes to make the ride home more comfortable should we see some rain.
- Don't forget your water bottles!

Calling all future lacrosse players! Big Walnut Lacrosse, in partnership with iQ Lacrosse, is excited to present our third annual Pick Up Sticks event – a low-cost event exclusive to brand new lacrosse players, boys and girls, in 1st through 6th grade within the Big Walnut Local School District.
*** All registered players will receive a free entry-level stick that we hope will jumpstart their love of the game!
Pick Up Sticks is the perfect opportunity to have fun, learn the basics of the sport, and see what the game is all about.

Pick Up Sticks is open to all first-time players in the Big Walnut Local School District. Come out, bring your friends, and discover the fun of lacrosse!

- Players should wear comfortable, athletic clothing and either running shoes or turf cleats.
- Please arrive a few minutes early to check in and receive your stick. We will begin checking in players at 11:30am.
