The annual Solent Charity Indoor Tournament make its Fareham Leisure Centre debut yesterday with the Southampton Spitfires coming away with the Gold Final trophy overcoming the Portsmouth Dodgers in an enthralling contest.

The Hurricanes took home the Silver Final trophy by beating the mash-up team of the Brewballs.

Not only was the day a great success for the return of competitive softball to the Solent League, but a great day for this year's charity. In total, the event raised £590 for Huntington's Disease Association.
