Cardiff Softball has announced its promotion to NSL2, marking a significant milestone for the team. This advancement comes as a result of the team's outstanding performance in 2026 with a record of 16 wins, 5 losses and 1 draw.

As Cardiff Softball prepares for the challenges that come with competing at a higher level, the organisation remains focused on fostering talent and building a strong community around the sport. The team is looking forward to the upcoming season and is eager to represent Cardiff with pride in the NSL2 league.

"As captains, we couldn't be prouder of this incredible team.  Every single player who represented us across across the three NSL weekends has played a vital part in this success.  It has been a true squad effort from start to finish.

Weekend 3 cemented our place at the top of the table with 5 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses.  Simply competing in NSL3 is an achievement, but to finish top of our group with an outstanding 16 wins from 22 games is something truly special.

More than the results, this team has shown the rest of the country exactly what Cardiff Softball is all about - playing with skill, determination, smiles, laughter and an unwavering team spirit.  We couldn't be prouder of what we've achieved together.

Now it's time for the next challenge.  Onwards and upwards to NSL2! Bring on the 2027 softball season - we can't wait to see what this amazing team can achieve next.
