2025 D3 Power Rankings
1 DadBods
Can last season's Fall champs finally break through in the Spring? After winning the championship in November, Dad Bods bring their entire fall team back to challenge for Spring's top spot, including OF/P Kunal Oak, the veteran leader who helped lead the Bats to the promised land in the summer, only to betray the team a few months later. With the addition of Oak and Umar Khan, expect the Dad Bods lineup to be deeper than ever, making them obvious frontrunners to capture their first Spring championship.
2 Bats
How will last season's underdogs fare as one of this season's favorites? Not many people had the Bats winning the championship last summer. A true Cinderella story that saw Commissioner Zimmad lead his ragtag group to their first-ever championship. But how will they fare without Oak? Enter veteran Sajeel Haque. Zimmad keeps it in the family, bringing back one of the better two-way players in the league. Haque can fill the shoes of Oak but will he be available week in and week out to help these Bats fend off the fresh target on their back?
3 Mingles
When will the top-seed solve their playoff woes? Mingles are back and have added new faces to help them finally get over the hump.
Each season, the team finishes at or near the top of the standings, only to falter in the playoffs. The team made a big addition this season in the form of Anthony Dindyal. Anthony brings a lot of skill on both sides of the field, as the former D2 captain can be the cleanup hitter that Mingles have sorely lacked the last couple of seasons. The team is also bringing in two new rookies to go along with a solid supporting cast of Faizan, Syed, Wahid, and Adeel. But don't get it twisted, this team is only going as far as their young guns (Anthony, Dylan, Nick) will take them.
4 High Rollers
Can High Rollers turn back the clock and regain their championship form? Prince and co. were kings of the D3 division for a time, but have fallen off a bit in recent seasons. The team brings back Ryan, who many consider to be the top player in the league, but has now also added players around him. Sijo Jacob was quietly one of the best 4-rated players in the league during his time with Hit Squad.
With him now hitting in front of Ryan, along with solid veteran bats the High Rollers are known for, there is a chance that this team can return to their championship form.
5 Hit Squad
Did Hit Squad begin a rebuild or was this a reload? A lot of turnover at the top of this Hit Squad team with huge veteran losses with the likes of Wahid O, Solyman, and Sijo. Captain Ali did a good job replacing them, however, bringing in elements the team sorely lacked last season, power and athleticism. Majid R brings his D2 talents to the top of the lineup and will most likely make an MVP run. Alan D and Ansar come over from NWO to beef up the rest of the lineup and help Hit Squad return to form after a disappointing season last Spring.
6 Sunday Sensations
Will the Year 3 improvement be enough to propel SS to the top half of the league? Hard to argue against the improvement SS made in the Spring and Fall of last season. They've got capable bats throughout their lineup. Everyone knows that Wil can crush a softball but can the team (outside of Vijay) play good enough defense to keep other teams off the bases. If we see another leap, particularly on the defensive side of the ball, SS will be a dangerous team come summertime.
7 Rishi's team
Not a lot is known of Rishi's team as of now. But since their captains are Rishi and Thomas, you can almost assume they are favorites heading into the season. This team is notorious for finding ringers, so be on the lookout for some of their new additions. Their D2 Assassins team proved to be one of the most dominant teams in SASL history, but the jury is still out on this new team. If you don't know, now you know.
8 NWO
Can Ayaz lead his UBS guys to another Top 3 finish? The team faces significant losses in the form of Reggie, Alan and Ansar but ir ypical Ayaz fashion has added a number of new NSA players to help round out the team. Z. JR, Ali G, and Jesse return and provide th team with consistent hitting and plus fielding. What it will come down to is the talent level of their new players, they can replace th offense they lost from last season? If so, they'll propel up these rankings fairly quickly.
9 OnlyFams
Will we see an improved OnlyFans this year? Sami's brainchild has struggled mightily since entering D3 and the team seems to be bringing in their weakest roster yet. With Obaid and Dennis nowhere to be seen on the roster sheet, how will this team put runs on the board or keep other teams off the field? Hopefully, we are just seeing an unfinished roster, and Only Fams makes that jump that everyone is expecting them to make this season.
10 Mystery Team
Who will it be? Dun Dun dunnnn....
