While we would all love to just be signed up, placed on a teamn, and start the carnage right away, there are still some things that need to be done to prep this event and make sure it runs as smooth as possible! This is mostly in the interest of balancing and team chemistry. We want to make the sure the Teams end up being as balanced as possible before we get things going. With this showdown, we pride our selves on having a successful Cross rank set up that still provides us with fair game play! Our resident Nerd GoldenHashBrown has worked very hard on applying statistical analysis to ensure teams are fair! We are delighted to say that the first showdown had 0 complaints about balancing and it was very clear that the teams that succeeded did so based on the power of friendship..... and good team play!

We also make sure that the teams will have enough time to participate in team building and ice breaker exercises. Everyone is hand picked to be on a team by the team captains however this deosnt meant that everyone will know and be comfortable with each other right off the bat. In the interest of comfortable fun, we encourage teams to get together once or twice and get to know each other to ensure everyone is friendly towards each other for maximum funitude. We also allow teams to pick their names, logos, and colors each year to give it that last touch of custom homey feels.
