Rod Hamm/Harold Latrace Arena is looking to add an Arena Operator to our Staff

The Arena Operator tasks include but are not limited to the following:

• Maintenance and preventative maintenance of the Arena and all equipment
• Ice Maintenance
• Arena Glass Replacement
• Hockey Net Maintenance
• General cleaning and maintaining cleanliness during the shift
• Safe blade changes and grease machine as needed
• Maintain appropriate checklists, records and reports

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have valid Driver’s License
• Must be able to operate a Zamboni
• One (1) or two (2) years of Arena Experience
• Saskatchewan Parks & Recreation Association (SPRA) Level 1 Required and Arena 2 Preferred

Experience

• Previous experience, training and operation of ice resurfacing equipment
• Willing and able to work flexible hours – evenings and weekends
• Great communication skills
• Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude
• Organized and self-motivated
