WEEKEND WARRIORS
Congratulations to our week 6 Weekend Warriors! Read below for player stats! 
Megan has been a standout player for Terrigno’s during her first season with WFSA NJ! She helped deter runs being scored against her team by preventing runners from stealing during game 1. She flashed the leather and scooped up anything within reach!
Olivia has left her mark as one of Terrigno’s most powerful players and a worthy opponent! She took the mound and put in some serious work in both games, adding a few more strikeouts to her 2023 resume. She also hit a grand slam against Oh Jeez in game 2!
LeAnn, a second time Weekend Warrior pick, was a key player for Crazy Horse Warriors this past weekend! She made an outstanding catch deep in the outfield during game 1. After the catch, she beamed in a perfect relay to stop a run from advancing, securing another win for her team this season.
Alyse, another notable WFSA NJ newbie, has had a very successful first season! She locked down the left side of the infield at shortstop and was a key part of Crazy Horse’s defense! She was also responsible for driving in the winning run during the tie breaker to secure her team’s second win of the day.
Pickles, AKA Jules, is a returning player for Oh Jeez this year. After an ACL injury last year, she’s given every play her all this season. Her base running was just as aggressive as her defense in the outfield during game 1. She also had one of the highest slugging percentages of the day!
Laurie is another returning player for Oh Jeez. She’s always willing to go the extra mile for her team, so she took the mound in game 2 and punched out batters throughout the afternoon. She also had a couple RBI’s on the day!
Alicia is a returning player for Pitches Be Crazy this year. Defensively, she was responsible for 7 outs during game 1! Offensively, she was just as impressive and hit a massive home run which helped her team secure their first win of the weekend!
Joanna, a three-year veteran to the league, is always a clutch member of Pitches Be Crazy’s roster! She is one of the most feared catchers of the league, and had no problem punching out a runner trying to steal second. She was also responsible for a key double play, and went yard during game 2!
