About the Timbits U8 Program

The U8 soccer program is designed to continue building on foundational soccer skills while introducing more structured team play and game-like scenarios. Players will improve their dribbling, passing, shooting, and coordination through drills, small-sided games, and fun activities that focus on teamwork, sportsmanship, and individual development.

The focus remains on fun, learning, and development in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Timbits U8 Birth Years

Children in the Timbits U8 Division are born in 2018 and 2019.

Timbits U8 Schedule

The Timbits U8 group play tentatively on Wednesday evenings from 6:00–7:00 PM.

(An extra week may be added at the end of the season if sessions are cancelled due to weather.)

Commitments and Expectations

• Shin pads are mandatory for all practices and games. Players will not be permitted to participate without properly worn shin pads.
• Soccer cleats are required for participation to ensure safety and proper footing on the field.
• Parents/guardians must remain on-site and be available in case of emergency. Coaches cannot assume responsibility for children if a parent is not present.

Weather Policy

Sessions will only be cancelled due to thunderstorms or extreme heat.

We play in the rain! You’ll be contacted by your coach or a KCSA representative if a session is cancelled.
