2022 SEASON

Regions and tiering have changed and we will be facing new opponents with the objective of shorter travel. There are three regions (North, GTA and South) and two tiers (AAA and AA).  The Junior Gaels have been assigned to the North AAA division.

• U14 – players born in 2008 and 2009
• U16 – players born in 2006 and 2007
• U18+ - players born in 2003, 2004 and 2005.
• Duration: End of march/early April to August 2022
• Cost: Training Camp and Season Fees: $1,110.00

• Location: Richardson Stadium Dates/Times: TBD by the League. Practices are held at Richardson Stadium typically twice a week, Mondays, and Thursdays starting at 6:00 pm.

The league will be communicated the full schedule shortly but we are looking at a start date around the May long weekend. Our season will consist of 2 “Preliminary Games” and 6 regular season games include 1 cross over game.  All teams are guaranteed 1 playoff game, and playoff format will be announced shortly.

All parents/guardians/players participating in the Junior Gaels Football Program can reduce their season fees throught volunteering on game or bingo days. No experience or special skills required! ​

• FOOTBALL ONTARIO & FOOTBALL CANADA NATIONAL REGISTRY

As part of registration process, all athletes must register through the with the  National Registry to Football Canada and Football Ontario. The cost for the National Registry is $ 42.00 and will be included as part of the registration process.
