The Goalkeeper Training Program provides youth goalkeepers with the opportunity to train weekly in a specialized environment focused on the unique technical, tactical, physical, and mental demands of the position. Training is delivered under the Inspire Academy goalkeeper methodology and curriculum, our goalkeeper curriculum emphasizes proper technique and decision-making, including handling, footwork, positioning, shot-stopping, distribution, and 1v1 situations.
Goalkeeper Training is designed to supplement the training goalkeepers already receive with their club or community team. Players of all experience and ability levels are welcome. Goalkeepers will be continually assessed throughout the season and grouped appropriately to support individual development alongside other goalkeepers at a similar stage.
