Volunteer Steps to Start Coaching

Thank you for your interest in volunteering as a coach with the Boys & Girls Club of Central Wyoming. We appreciate your dedication to supporting our youth through sports.

Before coaching begins, all volunteers must complete our annual safety and compliance process.
Please complete the two steps below:

  1. Background Check Form
  2. Child Safety Training Video
    • Use the SLU Volunteers PDF to create your Spillet U training account.
    • Complete the Foundations: Preventing Abuse in Youth-Serving Organization video course.
    • Email your completion certificate to dcmartinez@bgccw.org (CC: pblakeley@bgccw.org).

Your role as a coach is vital—not just in teaching the sport, but in modeling leadership, respect, and teamwork. We’re grateful to have you!

These steps are valid for one year and apply to all BGC sports.
