REVCO QUAD A & BB VOLLEYBALL RULES
MATCH FORMAT
- 5 sets - 4 to 21 (cap 23), 1 to 15 (cap 17)
LEVEL-SPECIFIC RULES
- QUAD A LEVEL
- Only 1 male may jump serve per set.
- 2025 Update: No males are allowed to attack from behind the 10-ft line (purely RevCo).
- QUAD BB LEVEL
- 2025 Update: No males are allowed to attack from behind the 10-ft line (purely RevCo).
TIME-OUTS
ATTACK & CONTACT RULES
- Any combination of players may play the ball over the net.
- Male players inside the attack line must put a distinct arc on the ball when sending it over.
- Male players may not block.
- A defensive block does not count as one of the three allowable contacts.
- Directional blocks are allowed.
- The serve may not be blocked or spiked.
- Serves hitting the net and going over are legal.
- Open-hand receive is allowed on serve receive and first contact.
- A player may touch but may not completely cross over the centerline with their foot.
- Oversets are not allowed, even if squared up.
- Setting/Double Calls: Officials may allow leniency if the setter is making an athletic attempt at the ball.
- No open-hand tips are allowed.
GENERAL RULES
- USA VOLLEYBALL Rules apply unless otherwise stated.
- Official ball: Molten Flistatec or Pro Touch (unless both captains agree otherwise).
REFEREES
- All games will be self-refereed.
- Captains are responsible for recording the results of their game in the Teamlinkt App
- Our team will monitor all courts during the playoffs and will be available for any and all questions, concerns, or discrepancies that may arise.
- Honor calls are accepted and appreciated.
PLAYER ELIGIBILITY
These leagues are set for the BB and A/AA level of play as determined by BEER.
- Players from higher divisions may not play in lower divisions in playoff play.
- Captains are responsible for ensuring rosters match the registered skill level
- Players listed on another roster in the in a higher division participating in lower level season play are handled on a case by case player if needed.
- If a player is deemed significantly higher than the BB or A/AA level, and it creates a health or safety risk, that player will be asked to remain “grounded.”
- Grounded = the player will not be allowed to attack the ball above the plane of the net.
SPORTSMANSHIP
- The purpose of this league is to have fun.
- Games may become intense, but players are expected to stay competitive while maintaining good sportsmanship.
- Any behavior deemed unacceptable by staff may result in suspension and/or ejection from the league.
FORFEITS
- If your team must forfeit, contact management to see if subs are available within the league to cover the match.
PLAYOFFS
- All eligible teams will make the playoffs.
- The league will be split into Gold and Silver brackets for the final two weeks.
- Players must have played at least two regular season matches to be playoff eligible.

- Best of 5 - First 4 sets to 25, 1 set to 15...no cap
