Stonewall Sports San Francisco is a volunteer-run non-profit sports league that provides a safe and inclusive community for Bay Area LGBTQ+ individuals and allies to learn, grow, and connect. We strive to promote player development, community service, and a positive player experience both on and off the field.
Founded in the Summer of 2023 as the 25th chapter and the first on the West Coast, our community provides the opportunity for individuals from across the Bay Area who have historically been intentionally or unintentionally excluded from sports and athletic competitions due to their sexual orientation or gender identity to participate and play. We are committed to creating a league where everyone feels welcome, valued, and supported. We believe that sports can be more than just athletics - it can be a vehicle for positive development in our community. We are committed to addressing historical sporting exclusion and providing a space where LGBTQ+ individuals can feel empowered and supported. Our leagues welcome players of all skill levels, from experienced athletes to those who have never played before. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to participate in sports and experience the camaraderie and connection that comes with it.

Stonewall Sports is an LGBTQ & Ally community-based, non-profit sports organization founded in 2010 that strives to raise funds for local non-profit organizations. Our league values each player for who they are and what they bring to the leagues community.
We believe every person should have the ability to feel comfortable being oneself in organized sports. Our league will value each player for who they are and what one brings to the leagues community. We also believe organized communities have the ability and responsibility to support others in need.
