Jr. Cougars (Kindergarten)

If you know some one in Kindergarten who is excited about basketball, this could be the perfect program for them! This 10 week program will offer weekly 60 minute sessions that aim to engage players by introducing them to the basics of basketball within a positive environment! The main goal is to introduce these young players to the fundamentals of basketball in a safe & fun environment, while igniting a love for the game!

*Due to gym time restrictions practices in the East zone will be moved to Sunday afternoons at Arcola School.*

Cost:  $195 for the season

Important Dates
Registration Opens: August 1, 2023
Registration Closes: October 21, 2023
Program Start Date: November 4, 2023
Final Program Date: February 10, 2024
(There will be no practice during the Christmas School break: Dec 12 - Jan 7)

Team Selection
Players should register in the "Zone" they currently live in - maximum of 20 players per zone.

Schedule
Teams will have a weekly practice/game on Saturdays at 9:00am. Practice facilities within each zone will remain the same for the entire season pending gym cancellations.

Equipment
As a participant in the RCBA program, all players will receive the following:
- T-shirt
- Basketball

What is Needed for the Season
- Non marking runners
- Athletic clothing
- Water bottle

Coaching
Coaches are always needed in the RCBA! If you are interested in coaching (no experience necessary) the RCBA will provide tools to assist new coaches.
