What is Little Puckers?
Little Puckers program consists of four, one-hour long Saturday morning sessions scheduled during the regular street hockey season (throughout the month of July). Puckers practice skills and get a little game play in. Kids in this program range from 4-6 years old. It’s a great way for kids to get an introduction into our regular 1st-8th grade program.
What are the age groupings for the Street Devils League?
Street Devils has two divisions: Junior Division for 1st through 4th graders and Senior Division for 5th through 8th graders (current school year spring grade).
How long is the season?
The season will run the month of July, with practices kicking off in late June. Each team plays regular season games plus at least one playoff game
When are games played?
Monday and Wednesday evenings are game nights with a 6 PM, 7:15 PM, and 8:30 PM time slot (except for playoffs). Teams are not scheduled for more than one game per evening, and will not play every available night. Street hockey is a learn as you go sport and practices are held at each coach’s discretion.
Where are games and practices held?
All games and practices are held at our beautiful playing surface at Crestwood Park in Pohatcong (103 Francis Street Phillipsburg, NJ 08865).
What do I need for my player to start?
Players will need sneakers and a water bottle. All required equipment (helmet, gloves, shin guards, mouth piece, and stick) are provided by The New Jersey Devils and Pohatcong Recreation.
