Welcome to Exeter Youth Basketball

Exeter Youth Basketball (EYBB) is dedicated to teaching basketball, sportsmanship, teamwork, and competitive fair play. We provide a fun, safe learning environment for our intermediate to advanced young athletes. Our focus is on developing athletic skills and character through participation in New Hampshire town travel league games and tournaments. We prioritize enhancing life skills both on and off the court, with equal opportunities for all players to improve their skills. While we aim to win, our primary goal is to ensure a positive overall experience while building player self-esteem and confidence.

Mission

EYBB aims to be the top basketball development program for SAU16 athletes in grades 5 to 8, boys and girls, seeking a competitive environment. We operate mid-November to mid-March, bridging the gap between other sports seasons.

Our Goal

Our goal is to nurture skilled and passionate young athletes who will uphold the EYBB mission throughout their playing careers. EYBB serves as a feeder program primarily for Cooperative Middle School (CMS) and Exeter High School (EHS). We collaborate with EHS coaches, boosters, players, and the local basketball community to raise awareness, support, and funds. Our focus is on cultivating skilled, character-driven, and competitive athletes.

Funding

EYBB is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization. Our programs are not funded by town taxes. It is a parent-funded enterprise which seeks to raise seed money and additional funding through sponsorships, fund-raisers and donations from local individuals and organizations. It is through the generosity of businesses and individuals that we seek to offset the high costs of participation and, hopefully, scholarships for those children unable to afford participation. Our challenge is to offer a high-quality basketball program at a reasonable price offset with sponsorships and donations.
