How it works:

​Playoffs

• The winner of each division advances to the 'A' playoffs.
• The best non-division winning team advances to the 'A' playoffs.
• The 4 non-division winning teams with the worst records advance to the 'B' playoffs.
• The 2nd best, non-division winning team will advance to either the 'A' or 'B' playoffs, based on which group (A or B) their record is closer to in the standings.
• A 4-team playoff has 2 semi-final games leading to a final.
• A 5-team playoff has 1 quarter-final between the two lowest teams, followed by 2 semi-finals and a final.
